Char Dham is a term used for the four most revered Hindu pilgrimage destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

According to the Puranas and various Hindu scriptures, the Char dham yatra is of very high religious significance. Pilgrims from all round the world brave the severe conditions of landscape and weather to visit the shrines and have the holy darshan of the revered deities.

Char Dham Darshan (15nights 16days)

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi. Get Transfered to your Pre Booked Hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 02 : Board the Train to Hardwar. Upon arrival transfer to hotel at Rishikesh Overnight at Rishikesh
Day 03: After breakfast proceed to Guptkashi (Approx 203 kms altitude 1319 meters) Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 04: Proceed from Guptkashi to Gaurikund (32 kms, altitude 1981 meters) and trek 14kms to Kedarnath (altitude 3584meters).
Overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 05 : Kedarnath – Guptkashi (14 kms trek, altitude 1981 meters). Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 06 : Proceed from Guptkashi to Joshimath. (137 kms, altitude 1875 meters). Overnight at Joshimath.
Day 07: Drive down 45 kms to Badrinath (altitude 3096 meters) and return back to Joshimath for the night.
Day 08 : Drive to Rudraprayag. 120kms 5hrs drive.
Day 09 : Drive to Harshil. 175kms 7hrs drive. 2,620mtrs altitude.
Day 10 : Drive to Gangotri. 22kms & One hour drive (3,200 mts . Visit of Gangotri. Back to Harshil.
Day 11 : Drive to Barkot. 175kms & 7hrs drive.
Day 12 : Drive to Yamunotri. 32kms drive & then 14kms Trekk for abt (6,315mtr altitude) Back to Barkot.
Day 13 : Drive to Rishikesh. 210kms & 10hrs drive.
Day 14 : Visit of Rishikesh area & drive to Haridwar. Enjoy the Ganga Arati during evening. Overnight at Haridwar
Day 15 : Visit of the places of Interest at Haridwar. Depart for Delhi to board for onward connection. Upon arrival get transfered to Hotel
at Delhi.
Day 16 : Departure transfer for the Airport or Railway Station for the onward connection.

This tour is possible between March/April to September/October(Till Dussehra). Gangotree & Yamunotree route is closed for rest of the year due to Snow fall. From Diwali till Basant Panchami Badrinath & Kedarnath would be closed down. The Date of Closing of Gangotri & Yamunotri Route is decided on Dusserha & Badrinath & Kedarnath Route on Diwali.
